A very simple role; Scan, Detect, Pacify; three coded demands that summarised the entirety of its programming. XD133 was particularly good at it, having successfully restrained over twenty-two criminals since its activation a week ago. If this performance kept up, perhaps its core would be placed into a larger unit - an XF Forces Construct or, if it could allow itself to be daring, an XL Riot Control Frame! For now, however, it had to focus on being the best Aerial Scout Drone it could be, because there were two new targets hidden somewhere in the market stands and at least one of them seemed to have unknown additional limbs, rather like the thing that was wrapped around its central chassis at the moment.

"They're following us."
The floating object currently wrapped in her tail buzzed in frustration, the engine propelling it not having enough strength to pull itself free from her grasp. [CEASE AND DESIST], it called out in tinny, metallic audio before the sound of creaking metal and shattering glass filled the air and the crumpled mess of technology was dropped to the floor, the nearby candy stand attendant watching in shock. "I, I had nothing to do with this!" he cried out, seemingly to no-one, before leaving his post unattended in a mad sprint for the nearest shelter.
Tail whipping back around behind her, the target in question exuded a wave of heat as she yawned, reaching up a hand to rub her eyes. "I don't understand, I just wanted a drink." The strange sweet tingly water was a bit too sickly after the first few gulps, but she could already feel herself wanting some more. A shame, then, that the stand staff a few streets down seemed to take offense to her drinking directly from the dispensers, but surely that was more efficient than filling a cup like everyone else was doing, right? Sure, maybe she shouldn't have smacked that first flying hunk of metal that came down, but it was beeping at her menacingly!
"Aaaaaaaahh... I should've controlled my temper."
"There, that's them!"
"Thank you, citizen. Please evacuate the area."
Moving into the t-junction of the market, and effectively backing their prey into a corner, was a small group half made of men and half made of machine. Three riot-shield equipped officers, bodies covered in grey and blue padding with heads disguised by thick helmets bearing black masks, were already standing in front and bracing themselves at the front while between them stood two man-shaped constructs, each bearing large rubber bullet rifles that looked far too heavy for most organic being of similar size to hold. From the left, the construct that bore yellow pattern-work on its plating stepped forward slightly, as if to take charge of the situation.
"On behalf of the Xenodome Administration of Security, Squad Leader XF-55 is placing you under arrest. Lay down your arms and raise your hands over your heads, or we will proceed with pacification. XF-55 will provide you ten seconds after the beep. [BEEP]"
Almost mumbling to herself, the reptilian-featured girl tapped her boot against the hard concrete surface impatiently. "I don't get it, how are we supposed to raise our hands if we have to drop them first. Can people here just disconnect their arms like that?" With mere seconds left on the clock, she turned to her compatriot, confusion, worry and frustration lining her face all at once.
"What do we do?"
