>It was finally time.
>Days had passed. Each day, Raill would go back to the mines and use his spare time to search for the prisoners in question, in order to possibly get in touch or find an easy way to get to them. Unfortunately, the only thing he'd managed to do was find out that they'd been among a group of prisoners who were moved to Shaft F, the source of the so-called 'discovery'. Because of that, he hadn't been able to see hide nor hair of them at all, given how well the place was being guarded. This meant getting in was going to be complicated.
>Thankfully, the night prior, Raill had come back with a way to get them inside, discovered by a combination of luck and happenstance. It had been a
slightly stressful time, particularly since the young teen didn't typically work a straight week like that, but thankfully some results had taken fruit. After a bit of planning, they had decided to meet at night outside of a inn close to the mine. The miner would lead them to the entrance, and the mercenaries would take it from there.
But I feel like I've been waiting here for ages already. Has it been that long of a day? Maybe I should've taken that extra-long bath I promised myself before.
>In order to keep himself from falling asleep or being bored to death, Logan had taken up the role of Local Complainer. In truth it was something of a habit to cover up his own nervousness by making the problem appear trivial, but it was hard not to think about how dangerous this was going to be. They'd waited nearly a month now, and it was finally time to conduct the suicidal plan he'd put together all the way back down south.
>Here's hoping the plan didn't go that way, either.
It's already past midnight... did the kid go to sleep or something?
